Our Environmental Commitment

3SC Group Scaffolding Limited is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner and minimising the environmental impact of our activities. We recognise our responsibility to protect the environment, prevent pollution, use resources efficiently, and comply with all applicable environmental legislation and best practice.

Environmental management is integrated into our business planning, operational controls, procurement decisions, and site activities. We aim to continually improve our environmental performance while delivering safe, high‑quality scaffolding services.

Policy Objectives

Our environmental objectives are to:

  • Comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, permits and industry guidance.
  • Prevent pollution and minimise waste generation across all operations.

All employees and subcontractors are expected to understand and comply with environmental obligations applicable to their roles.

Waste Management and Recycling

We manage waste responsibly by:

  • Segregating waste streams where practicable.
  • Using licensed waste carriers and approved disposal facilities.
  • Applying the waste hierarchy: prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, dispose.
  • Preventing uncontrolled disposal, fly‑tipping or contamination.

Packaging and redundant materials are minimised wherever possible.

Pollution Prevention

We take proactive measures to prevent environmental pollution by:

Roles and Responsibilities

Senior management has overall responsibility for environmental performance and policy implementation. Supervisors and managers ensure compliance on site. All employees and subcontractors are responsible for working in accordance with this policy and reporting environmental risks or incidents.

Failure to comply with environmental requirements may result in corrective action in line with company procedures.

Policy Review

This Environmental Policy is reviewed annually or when significant changes occur in legislation, operations or business structure to ensure ongoing suitability and effectiveness.
